Guests shed all color and donned all white to help raise funds for MY Museum at the home of Cameron and Anthony Davi Jr. at this year's "White Party." The event was put together with the help of many community sponsors like Tiffany & Co., and included great food, wine, mixed cocktails and live music.
Clint and Dina Eastwood hosted Carmel River School's annual Spring Fling Fundraiser at their Mission Ranch. The event raised more than $50,000 to benefit PTA programs, and was a CInco de Mayo themed celebration complete with margaritas, dinner and dancing. Silent and live auction items included a trip to Las Vegas, baseball tickets, huge bottles of Patron tequila, and Clint Eastwood memorabilia.
BioBancUSA held its by-invitation-only grand opening reception at its Ryan Ranch property. The all-day event included an in-depth discussion about the technology behind white blood cell storage along with a private party immediately following. Guests enjoyed fine wines from Ventana and had the opportunity to meet with world-renowned medical professionals.
Cooking for Solutions held their 6th annual celebration at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The venue honored notable chefs in the communit and gave guests the chance to enjoy food and wine from many restaurants. All food and wine featured was produced using methods that preserve the health of the soil, ocean, and wildlife.
The Monterey County Film Commission held a 40th Anniversary party in honor of the Monterey International Pop Festival. The event was held at the historic Golden State Theatre and served as a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization. The venue included a screening of the 1969 documentary "Monterey Pop," along with an interview discussion with filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker.
The Big Sur International Marathon thanked the many supporters of its annual event by throwing a VIP sponsor party. The venue was held at the Monterey Marriott in the Ferrantes room and featured food, wine, and the chance to meet the organizers of the marathon.
The Carmel Chamber of Commerce hosted its first annual Golf Tournament held at Quail Lodge & Resort and was sponsored by Guestlife Monterey Bay. More than 100 participants rallied together to network with fellow chamber members during this day-long tournament. A post-play reception was held that included a fabulous live and silent auction.
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Monterey Pop Festival, Tom & Mollie O'Neal of TGO Photography hosted "A Happening" at their Carmel Valley studio. Guests were encouraged to wear 60's inspired attire and feasted on treats from Paradise Catering. The event was held to showcase O'Neal's unpublished images from the Pop Festival as well as paintings by world-renowned Venetian artist Sergio Boldrin.
