Make a Wish

The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation's 9th Annual Monterey Bay Gala, held at Tehama Golf Club, was hosted by co-chair Dina Eastwood and sponsored by Save Mart Supermarkets. Entertainment was provided by Overtone, featured on the soundtrack of Clint Eastwood's latest movie, "Invictus."

Starry Night Dinner Auction

Special Kids Crusade held its annual Starry Night Dinner Auction at the Monterey Marriott. The auction raised money to support unique programs and services developed for children with disabilities. Guests enjoyed wine by Tudor Wines and a three course dinner presented by the Monterey Marriott.

Monterey Symphony Fiesta

The Monterey Symphony Fiesta followed a concert featuring legendary musician Doc Severinsen and El Ritmo de la Vida! at the Sunset Center. The Fiesta raised money to support the Symphony to engage, educate and excite people through the performance and continual discovery of symphonic music.

Carmel Chamber of Commerce Awards of Excellence

The Awards of Excellence gala dinner, held at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, honored 42 Carmel businesses nominated in 14 categories. Little Napoli was named the Business of the Year Award for 2009.This Carmel Chamber of Commerce awards celebration is in its 12th year.

Pink Poker Night

Pink Poker Night, an evening of great food and games, was held to help the Culinary Center of Monterey's education scholarships fund and Natividad Medical Foundation's Onyx Fund For Women. The fundraiser featured pink cocktails and was hosted by Chef Mary Pagan and Mary Ann Leffel.

19th Annual Feast for AIDS

The Beach Club in Pebble Beach was the setting for the 19th Annual Feast for AIDS, which raised funds for education and confidential testing.The event, which featured a six-course feast by top local chefs with local wines, and an auction with a sculpture by StevenWhyte, also announced the new Central Coast HIV/AIDS Services organization.

Meals on Wheels Classique d' Elegance

This year's Culinary Classique d'Elegance, Meals on Wheels' signature event founded by Bert Cutino, featured 22 of the area's top chefs and design teams. Proceeds support the programs and services provided by Meals on Wheels and the Sally Griffin Active Living Center.
